Cooper Quest is Here!

A new perk of the Fitness Center — the Cooper Quest wellness program. This on-going, custom-designed benefit provides you tools, resources and encouragement to help you achieve the fitness results you desire.

CooperQuest is based on Dr. Kenneth Cooper's 8 Steps to Get Cooperized, and at the foundation of the program are five key health areas:
  • Body Composition
  • Blood Work
  • Cardiovascular Fitness
  • Functional Fitness
  • Stress Management

The program kicks off with Cooper Quest Functional Movement health assessments, September 10-21, and receiving your score with one-on-one coaching, October 15-26. Once you have completed the Functional Movement Screening you can then have us test your cardiovascular fitness and body composition if desired.  Blood work must be done on your own; you can either get it done by your own doctor or visit a local lab for screening.  It consists of testing for blood lipid levels (total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, trigylcerides) and blood glucose levels.  You can also get your blood tested if you volunteer to give blood during the community blood drive held here at Wellington on Saturday, October 13.  Complete details coming soon.
