REQUIREMENTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USING THE GYM

Starting at 5 am on May 19, the Wellington gym will be open from 5 am until 11 pm every day.  However, due to the need for social distancing and the occupancy limits on the gym that have been mandated by the State of Texas, you may use the gym a maximum of three times per week, for no more than 90 minutes for each workout.  This includes all time spent in the building.  Also, only Wellington residents will be allowed to use the gym; no guests will be allowed until such time as social distancing measures are no longer necessary.  For purposes of this scheduling a week is considered to be starting at 5 am on Sunday and ending at 11 pm on the following Saturday.  Please use your time wisely.  Your neighbors will appreciate your cooperation.

Best Practices for Staying Healthy & Active During a Pandemic

See the links above for requirements and recommendations for coming into the gym and using the equipment.  Now that we are re-opening the gym using social distancing, we here at Wellington Athletic Club want to encourage everyone to stay active and healthy during this trying time.  It’s important for us all to eat nutritiously, stay active and get plenty of rest while following all public health guidelines.  The Denton County Public Health Dept. has the most current updates on the status of the COVID-19 pandemic.  To link to their websites please go to
