Coming again on Saturday, October 14, 2023, Wellington Athletic Club will hold our Second Annual One Fur Fun, a one-mile walk and festival supporting Humane Tomorrow, our local animal rescue and adoption group here in Flower Mound. The festival is free, but you can register (includes a colorful t-shirt proclaiming your support for Humane Tomorrow plus 5 voting tickets in the costume contest) at the link above.

One Fur Fun refers to the one-mile walk group walk around the Wellington neighborhood, but that's only a part of the activities available to participants. We will also have a pet costume contest (Halloween's coming y'all!), a variety of family friendly games such as Giant Jenga, Ring Toss, Corn Hole, and more, sponsor booths offering lots of information and even great door prizes, a weiner bob, cake walks plus snacks! Last year's pet costumes were wonderfully inventive, and we can't wait to see the pet costumes this year!. All proceeds will go to benefit Humane Tomorrow.
