Free Boot Camp for Wellington Residents
We will be offering a six-week FREE boot camp for Wellington residents starting on Tuesday, October 13. The class meets 5:30-6:15 am on tennis court 2. It will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from October 13 through November 19, and the teacher is Cecy McKee, who also teaches the Wellington core training class on Saturday mornings. If you would like to participate in the class please email the fitness director at email@example.com to let us know. Space is this FREE boot camp is limited to the first 50 people who respond, and participants are expected to participate in a minimum of 8 out of the 12 available sessions. Please note, boot camp is an intense class and is not intended for those for whom exercise could cause aggravation of a pre-existing injury or condition, or for pregnant women. If you are recovering from an injury or have recently had a baby, please be sure to get your doctor's clearance before participating.
Wellington Virtual Family Fun Run Results
Congratulations to the winners of this year's Wellington Virtual Family Fun Run benefiting Humane Tomorrow. The top overall winners were Katie Wilson (22:30) and Chand Yadev (30:51). Time to trim your trees and put out pre-emergent
Halloween is right around the corner! Please remember to trim trees and bushes around your sidewalks so that little ones can trick-or-treat safely. Also, this is the perfect time of year to put out pre-emergent weed killer. Thanks!
